The auction will take place on November 21. of 2020., at 12.00 o’clock at the premises of Rietumu Banka in Vesetas street 7. Online bidding will be organized online on website www.artembassy.lv, with ending on November 21, from 12:00, also we accept telphone bidding. On-site bidding will be offered by invitation, subject to national restrictions The auction will be broadcasted as online video stream. The works put up for auction will be available for viewing from November 09 to 21 at the premises of Rietumu Bank. 344 outstanding works of art that are not available in the art market every day will be offered in this great auction. Participants of the auction will have the possibility to purchase such pearls of Latvian painting as the works of Janis Rozentals, Aleksanda Belcova, Johans Valters, Jānis Ferdinands Tīdemanis, Ludolfs Liberts, Eduards Kalniņš, Leo Kokle, Leo Svemps, Jānis Pauļuks, Herberts Siliņš, Miervaldis Polis and other outstanding Latvian artists. Kurts Fridrihsons worked with oil, in the late 1950s, focusing on water-color. Main artist topics - Latvian folklore, ancient legends and world culture. Works characterized by relatively, portrait and figurative imagery, subtle colors, lines elegance and virtuosity. From 1974 worked primarily Making of technique.
Intermittently studied at the Latvian University architecture department (1931-1938), also in which he visited the painting courses to Vilhelms Purvitis (finished the first three courses).
Member of Art Union since 1946 (1951 excluded, but in 1957 re-admitted).
Participated in the exhibitions since 1932.
Personal exibitions in Honolulu, USA (1939), Riga (1943, 1967, 1974, 1975, together with J. Spalvins, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1982, 1984, 1986, 1990).
Memorial Exhibition (1992).
He has participated in many group exhibitions of Latvian artists.
