Painter, graphic artist.
R.Kasparsons painted landscapes, portraits and genre paintings in realistic manner.
Worked in genre of graphic design much, made sketches to banners, diplomas, painted porcelain. He worked in sphere of book graphic and the poster. From 14 years produced violins.
R.Kasparsons was born on September 13, 1889 in Upciems, Cesis district.
Visited art studio of J.Madernieks, later - art studio of J.R.Tillbergs (1914-1915). In 1928 R.Kasparsons graduated Latvian Academy of Art, the workshop of Figurative Painting of J.R.Tillbergs with degree work "Rural works".
R.Kasparsons worked as drawer in a geodetic bureau before the First World War. For many years made illustrations for magazine "Atputa". After the Second World War he worked at combine "Maksla" (Art).
Participated in exhibitions since 1920. On a regular basis participated in exhibitions of Unity of Independent Artists (1923 - 1927), later - in exhibitions of the Union of Latvian Artists (from 1928), was one of its founders. R.Kasparsons was a member of the Artists’ Union of Latvia since 1945.
R.Kasparsons died on April 14, 1966 in Riga.
