Ceramic sculpture The author is daughter of Zoya Beregovaya Izrael (1914-1997), sculptor, member of the Union of Artists of the Kazakh SSR (1944-1967), member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR since 1967. The sculptor was born in Luhansk, Ukraine. In 1938, she graduated from Voroshilovgrad art school, majoring in sculpture. Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine (1967), the Union of Artists of the Kazakh SSR (1944-67). Awarded with a medal and certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Rada of the Kazakh SSR. In 1946, participated in republican exhibitions (1946). Worked in the experimental workshop of E. Vuchetich (Moscow, 1939-40), Alma-Ata (1941-67) and Simferopol (1967-78) art funds. She specializes in large-format, monumental and easel sculpture of small forms in terms of realism with minor generalization of details. Aluminum, concrete, fireclay, terracotta, ceramics were used as materials. The works are stored in the State Art Gallery of Kazakhstan, regional museums of local history (Aktobe, Kustanaya, Karaganda regions). Lived and worked in Kerch.
